Walking the Walk

Westchester Wilderness Walk, our 150-acre preserve in Pound Ridge, was featured on the front page of the Westchester section of the New York Times on Sunday.

The story, by Christopher Brooks, features Paul Zofnass (right), who with his family founded the preserve and who is a member of Westchester Land Trust's Board of Directors. Terrific preserves in Connecticut, New Jersey and Long Island are also highlighted.

Brooks's story is here.

Westchester Wilderness Walk is one of eight Westchester Land Trust preserves that have hiking trails. We encourage you to visit it and the others.

You can find more information, including trail maps, here, on our Visit a Preserve page.
