This information is used to process and acknowledge your donation; register your attendance at an event or meeting; respond to any information requests you may have; prepare any required IRS filings; and, analyze overall giving patterns in order to make more accurate budget projections.
Westchester Land Trust does not sell, trade, or share its donor list with any other organization. All personal information provided to us is stored in databases located on servers which are behind firewalls. Donations made through our website are encrypted using 128-bit SSL encryption.
No attempt will be made to identify
or collect personal information about you or any of our other website visitors.
Westchester Land Trust may automatically receive and record information on our
server logs from your browser, which may include your IP address, session time,
click path analysis, and the pages you request. WLT will only use this type
data in an aggregate form which does not identify you personally. Similarly,
website visitor logs are used for general, statistical purposes only.
Westchester Land Trust strives to
keep donors informed about how donations are used and their importance for
continuing our programs. We send several mailings a year to accomplish this and
include a donation coupon to invite financial support. Most of our supporters
want to receive all of our mailings and newsletters. However, you may opt out
of any and all mailings by contacting us with your request.
