The Coldwell Banker volunteers were the first participants in our Helping Hands Alliance, which is designed to put teams of volunteers from area businesses to work on one-day projects that enhance the appearance, safety and usability of preserved lands.

One of our best preserves just got better, thanks to volunteers from Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Katonah.
On Friday, October 9, eight Coldwell Banker sales associates and staff spent five hours at our Hunter Brook Preserve, in Yorktown, clearing trails, clipping branches, putting up trail markers and performing other tasks to make the preserve easier for visitors to use.

The Coldwell Banker volunteers were Anne-Marie Nordgren Stewart, Mary Ehbrecht, Tess Brannagan, Gino Semoneta,
Yasmine Guenancia, Robert Paul and Debbie Cuiffo. Kym Frolick, a friend of Yasmine’s, also helped out, although she doesn’t work for Coldwell Banker.
The Helping Hands Alliance is a new program. We’re planning half-a-dozen improvement projects at other preserves in the spring.
