Residents of Usonia, the Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired community in Mount Pleasant, are unhappy with plans by the New York City Department of Environmental Protection to fell dozens of pines as part of a project to improve qater quality in tributary of the Kensico Reservoir, the Journal News reports.
The DEP says the work is essential to keep the unfiltered water supply clean and, besides, they'll be replanting the trees.
