We received the following from our
friends in Somers:
We invite you to join us at Angle
Fly Preserve on Sunday, June 14. for our next work day. We hope you will
be able to attend.
Date: Sunday, June 14
Time: Meet at 10am, running until early afternoon (or as long as you can stay if you need to leave earlier).
Place: Angle Fly Preserve
Our last work day was a great success. We had several volunteers who made
progress on a variety of projects and had a lot of fun in the process.
I'm sure this month will be just as much fun.
Tools: If you have access to clippers and/or rakes, please bring them
with you. In addition, we suggest that each person come with a small bag
(e.g., a plastic grocery bag) to collect any garbage we come across as we move
through the preserve.
Future work days: We have additional work days scheduled for July 11,
Aug 8, and Sept 12. If you are unable to join us next weekend, we hope
one of these future dates will work better for your schedule. A full
calendar of events is available on the Somers Land Trust website (www.somerslandtrust.org)
and will be updated as new events are scheduled.
For more information about this work day or any other FAFP event, please don't
hesitate to send me email at gotz@somerslandtrust.org.
We hope to see you at the Preserve!
